Is it just me or does time just never seem to slow down - just moves faster and faster with every passing year!

The same can be said with Marketing your Med Spa.

I can’t tell you how many changes in this year alone there have been with marketing… Especially where social media is concerned.

New Algorithms, New Facebook Ad Updates, Reels, and so much more.

Competition is at an all-time high and consumer behaviors seem to be changing faster than we can keep up.

If you're thinking your Med Spa needs some new marketing tactics, I’ve gathered the most effective marketing for your Med Spa this year and that will continue into the new year.

Are you excited to start your marketing journey?

Here are five ways to tap into the market - and do it right!

#1 - Chatbots

Did you know that 51% of people say that a business needs to be available 24/7!?

Craziness right? And can we say umm Impossible?

Not with Chatbots! ;)

Automation and Chatbots are seriously the best way to start generating leads, provide an excellent client experience, inform your prospects, close sales and create a follow-up chat sequence for those who don’t convert to clients.

Here is a great example of how powerful a chatbot can be:

  • Install your chatbot on your website that allows prospective clients the ability to self-service. They can get the answers to their questions like “How much is Botox’, “What downtime can I expect after a Peel”, “How long will it take to see results”. You can also have the ability to allow clients to book appointments, contact by phone, or ask a question to a team member.

You can also use the Facebook Messenger questions visitors might have about services, promotions, bookings, etc. FB Messenger can then auto-reply to frequently asked questions, and Instagram has a similar service too!

#2 Short Video Marketing

Video sells (hello Reel trend)

If you‘re not utilizing videos, start doing it (you’ll know why in a minute).

A short video allows your potential client to have a peek behind the curtain and build a stronger relationship with you even before stepping into your Med Spa.

There are a ton of different ways to create and share videos, everything from Instagram Reels and Stories, Tiktok, Facebook to Youtube, I can guarantee your ideal client is on one of those platforms (if not all).

Make sure that you are utilizing videos in the best way possible for your business growth, keeping them light, funny, educational and entertaining is the best approach.

#3- Online Store

Many Med Spa owners ask, “Should we have an Online Store?”

Do you have products to sell? (Skincare anyone!?)

If yes, an online store can help you make more sales.

Even when you’re sleeping! And that’s what I recommend to everyone.

Before setting up this option, be ready for all requirements, including shipping and integrating payment links.

#4 Shoppable Social Media Posts

Why settle for regular social media posts when you can make them clickable?

You can take better advantage of your online store by connecting social media to it.

More and more people are shopping online! (Heck I make an order daily!)

Shoppable social media posts also reduce the steps needed for a sale. These types of posts allow the users to buy the products by just clicking the post. After the purchase, they can go back to enjoy social media.

This approach also lowers the time between thinking about the product and acting on impulse. It reduces distractions, increasing the probability of the consumers taking advantage of your services.

#5 Micro-Influencer Marketing

Does coming up with new ideas for social media haunt you? Or make you feel overwhelmed?

This may especially be true if you are looking for higher levels of engagement and reaching a new audience.

Influencer marketing works like a charm!

So, what’s micro-influencer marketing?

It is a way of allowing someone to be your brand ambassador and utilizing their sphere of influence to promote your services.

More and more celebrities are open about using aesthetic improving services.

If you remember the viral Vampire Facial post by Kim Kardashian, it amassed 10,000 comments. This, among various other influencers’ posts, has paved the marketing path for medical aesthetic businesses.

Make sure you research the right influencer. You need a local influencer whose audience aligns with your services or offer. Doing this will provide you with thousands of new inquiries, followers, and visitors to your website.

It’s a Wrap-Up!

Here are five of my all-time favorite marketing trends for Med Spas.  Short video marketing and chatbots are hands down my favorite.

Which one would you prefer? Or which is working the best for you?
